Saba plays the Classics at Stanley Park – Saturday 26 August 2017
The Opera & Arts Support Group have pleasure in inviting you and friends to join us for a day coach trip which will include a spectacular Recital by internationally acclaimed pianist, Geoffrey Saba, in the historic and majestic Stanley Park estate at Fullerton Cove, performing an engrossing programme of masterworks by Haydn and Beethoven.
7.30am The Central Railway Coach Terminal has moved to the Grand Concourse. Board our luxury coach at Central Railway Exit 1 Grand Concourse – Western Forecourt Bay 1 (outside entrance to country trains).
8.15am Pick up Railway Street, Chatswood at Bus Interchange Chatswood Station.
9.15am Pick up at Berowra – Bus Stop opposite Railway Station.
10.45am Arrive at the historic town of Morpeth nestled on the Hunter River with time to stroll and experience the many enticing and unique shopping boutiques or visit a garden to be arranged. Morpeth has a rich heritage and was instrumental in the development of the Hunter Valley, is National Trust classified – a living museum with beautifully preserved buildings.
11.45am Assemble at the Commercial Hotel, Morpeth to enjoy a glass of bubbly followed by lunch with selected wines.
1.00pm Depart Morpeth for Stanley Park estate at Fullerton Cove where we have been invited to a Recital by celebrated pianist Geoffrey Saba.
1.30pm Champagne reception followed by an afternoon of music by Haydn and Beethoven (full programme here).
5.00pm Carriages – board our coach for a relaxed journey home.
