The Opera & Arts Support Group will be presenting an innovative and varied programme of events for your enjoyment throughout the year. We continually aim to offer you interesting functions with established artists, together with many of our emerging young artists who we have assisted with your generous support.
We invite you and your friends to join the Opera & Arts Support Group as we bid a fond farewell to our long association with presenting memorable events at the elegant William Wilkins Gallery for a last hurrah at this special venue before the redevelopment of the historic sandstone Department of Education building into a Hotel.
Presenting a dazzling showcase of opera and music theatre with an ensemble of exceptional singers under the musical direction of Bradley Gilchrist. Principal artist with Opera Australia, Luke Gabbedy, will also compere the evening.

The Opera & Arts Support Group presents a major event in the Sydney Eisteddfod providing your opportunity to hear six talented young singers vying for the $10,000 first prize.
The six finalists competing for $17,000 in prize money for our adjudicators, Michael Lewis OAM and Nicole Youl to make the final decision.
1st Opera & Arts Support Group Vocal Scholarship $10,000.
2nd Paul Worthington OAM Encouragement Award $5,000.
Remaining four finalists $250 each.
Plus an Audience Vote for the Graham Matheson Award $1,000.

The Opera & Arts Support Group in conjunction with the District Garden Clubs have pleasure in inviting you and your friends to join us for a day coach trip to Middle Dural and Kenthurst in Sydney’s beautiful Hills District.
8.30am Board our luxury coach in Eddy Avenue, Central Railway (Bay number to be advised).
9.00am Pick up Railway Street, Chatswood at bus interchange Chatswood Station.
9.45am Arrive at Savannah, 51 Mid Dural Road, Middle Dural.
Savannah at Middle Dural is a mature acreage garden established by the owners over thirty-five years. The
Palladian style homestead is surrounded by specimen trees enhanced by themed gardens, statuary and water gardens.
The Garden Tour will commence at 10.00am with drinks, canapés and morning tea at Savannah, kindly hosted by Hugh Crompton and Richard Howard.
11.30am Board the coach to arrive at Allegro, 1 Porters Road, Kenthurst at 12.00 noon where champagne will be served on the terrace.
Allegro a stunning and luxurious Mediterranean style villa nestled in the picturesque Dural region of the Hills District is set amongst the towering gum trees of O’Hara’s Creek. Allegro is noted for its delicious food and impeccable service.
A two course luncheon (main and dessert) with accompanying wines will be served at your table.
Musical presentation arranged by the internationally renowned Sharolyn Kimmorley AM at the grand piano with singers especially selected by Sharolyn will entertain performing opera and operetta favourites.
The return journey is scheduled to arrive at Chatswood by 4.45pm and Eddy Avenue by 5.30pm.
For guests who wish to drive parking will be available at the venues.
